As a stock shape, this design measurement has two important measurements – the actual chenille area and the total measurement with the felt:

4" Chenille Star - 

The chenille portion of the star is 4.00" tall x 4.23" wide.  With the material allowance and our standard cut offsets, this design has a rough final size of 6.91" tall x 7.37" wide.  

3" Chenille Star - 

The chenille portion of the star is 3.00" tall x 3.17" wide.  With the material allowance and our standard cut offsets, this design has a rough final size of 5.80" tall x 5.44" wide.  

2" Chenille Star - 

The chenille portion of the star is 2.00" tall x 2.1" wide.  With the material allowance and our standard cut offsets, this design has a rough final size of 4.74" tall x 4.44" wide.  

Lettering limitations apply for this design and words may need to be abbreviated or rearranged as needed.

There are three offset options:

Standard offset - as done on all patches - makes for a much larger, more uniform looking patch

Tapered offset - can be used so that the tip of the point of the standard offset is not greater than the standard offset at the height of the point.  This requires that the balance of the offsets be tapered to get to that point which results in less, as in this picture, white space between the lineup stitch and the edge of the first felt.

Round offset - this design maintains the standard offset but rounds the points so that the patch does vastly expand in size due to the points.

Choose your color combination and text as required.  

Fluffy sewn area (chenille) is made using acrylic thread. Embroidery is sewn using a rayon or polyester thread. 

Damp cloth is the best cleaning method.
