For reference, the class president patch is 3" tall and 6.26" wide as this was the first patch on the sleeve.  These arches usually are a little shorter and less wide as shown in the digitial image which has more arc.  Depending upon the lettering style, some patches are made the traditional way with the chenille sewn around the lettering and others with the lettering sewn on top of the chenille.
